I can be your "It Girl"

I'm serious about style, so I a find way to get involved with the industry that I love. There are many practical ways that I can do to make the most of my enthusiasm for fashion but blogging is my kind of thing. I started  blogging just about this month.  Indulging my passion for fashion is a "now or never" and "take it or leave it" situation for me. I
I admit it,  I'm not getting any younger. I'm in my early 20's and I'm busy working for my future. I'm working 6 days a week and I just have 6 hours of sleep a day. But it's never too late, I still have all the chances so  I'll never let go of  my fashion dreams.

I'll start from a humble beginning and take a step one at a time until I finally reach the top.

My sister and I are an avid fan of Candy Magazine ever since. It's our best-est friend evuuh. We really enjoy reading it. Seeing my self being featured for their: "It girl"of the week is surreal. Someone (thanks Thor) just tagged me about the post so I was a bit shocked when checked it. I can't believe it. I couldn't explain the feeling. I was on cloud nine! (like O-M-G!!!!!).

No matter how big or simple as you may see it, for me it is something the fueled me up to do more for my passion. It is such an honor. It boosted my confidence. :)

Hugs and kisses for everyone who viewed and liked it. I'm so blessed to be surrounded with positive and supportive people like you guys. Thank you from the bottom of my heart and style.!!!!!!! :*

Here's my today's look:

I'm giving my self a botanical treatment by wearing a floral-printed jeggings. I love how floral makes any outfit look so fresh and feminine at the same time. It brings a summer feeling and also makes dressing up pretty easy because of the go-to statement it makes. It requires a little effort.

I'm into breaking the usual so instead of pairing up my floral jeggings with a girly-girly top I threw a leather jacket that adds up a rocker chic look.

Break out from your comfort zone and try out something new. Experiment! There's nothing wrong if you'll try to be different. What if you happen to actually rock other styles that are way different from your usual get up/fashion formula? You'll never know until you try! Add spice to your usual get up! :)

The Timeless BLACK|WHITE

The weather starts to jump off to its extreme level of craziness. Unusual low temperature blankets Manila and the different parts of the country. Lately, I don't feel like I'm working in Manila. It feels like I'm in Tagaytay because of the cold or should I say very cold weather. Brrrrr!

Cuddling sounds so good right now. We all need a bear hug. But if no one's around to cuddle and wrap you, what would you do?
Blazers is something you can throw up to ward off chilly weather.  It can keep you warm and stylish at the same time. It  also polish your look in an instant.

Today, I  picked the easiest color to mix and match. Black and white are the safest, go-to color combo you can wear on your more sophisticated days. The challenge comes when different prints and cuts take over.  The styling tip is to keep everything in balance. If you're planning to inject texture make it sure that you'll not get drowned with it. (ex.Emboss top-Plain trousers/ Plain top-textured bottoms.) You can't wear textured top to textured bottoms.Remember the Plain to textured or textured to plain "rule" to keep the simplicity. Again, avoid textured over textured most especially when they have  different prints. (just a piece of advice)

Black + white always makes a clean, sophisticated look

LESS is just MORE. Styling minimal pieces is a challenge I love to do. I always start  from the top with neat, pulled up hair. Next, will be accessorizing myself with timeless gold pieces.

There are times that I'm too lazy to put on and wear makeup. My perfect go-to buddy on those days is my black sunnies.

Cropped|Cut's Obsession.

Gone are the days of plunging necklines. You can be sexy without  revealing too much skin. The art of revealing just enough skin can make something seriously and effortlessly sexy.

With my look I showed off my shoulders and exposed my arms  with a halter tank crop top.
Generally, a halter cut not only helps define the bust but make the shoulders look well-defined as well.

If  you have broad and sexy shoulders-- Flaunt it! It has been a rule that you should flaunt your best asset no matter what, even if our bipolar and overly crazy weather won't allow.

If you'll bare your shoulders and wear crop tops make it sure that it is balance to keep the look from getting too risqué.

I paired my crop top with origami lace pair of shorts.Crop top + origami shorts= They matched perfectly . It's a great pair that you should try out. The origami-like design gives the illusion of a smaller thighs and slimmer legs. It looks super structured and ladylike that everyone will fell in love with. It is such a flattering pair of shorts, that a woman can't resist!

"It’s a new era in fashion - there are no rules. It’s all about the individual and personal style, wearing high-end, low-end, classic labels, and up-and-coming designers all together."
— Alexander McQueen

Everyone has THEIR own personal style AND OWN sense of style. No matter how petite, curvy and big you are --you have all the freedom to wear whatever you want. Yes! There are rules and restrictions but at the end of the day it's you and your style that matter the most. It's not what you wear, but it's your attitude that shows off the best in you.

Biker Chic

EDGY with a CAREFREE attitude- those two words represent  me. I'm not afraid to experiment with styles beyond my comfort zone when dressing up.

For today's look, I'll drape in boldly beautiful biker chic fashion. Biker styles have a warm place in my heart; the rebellious fashion pieces lock their places.

 (leather ball cap+jersey midriff+leather skater skirt+suede booties +studded sling bag + sunnies=Perfect!)

I showed a bit of skin by wearing a crop top and paired with a leather skirt to maintain the biker chick look which I was going for.

Skater skirts are one of my favorites. I love that they effortlessly bring out your waistline.

Midriff tops are a big hit nowadays. I can't get enough!!

I threw on a denim jacket for a little vintage feel. Denim and leather go well together so you better match them up.

(PS: If you're planning to pull off a midriff top you need to wear a jacket or a blazer over it to avoid looking too bare, especially if you're planning to wear a pair of shorts or a skirt ---like mine.)

Lazy Monday

Why is Monday so far from Friday but Friday so close to Monday? Why? Why? Oh it's Monday again and I don't feel like doing anything. Extreme laziness strikes again.

]
I don't feel like doing anything. Yes, I'm lazy but of course, I don't like leaving the house looking like slob.

Fortunately, dresses exist and they are the easiest way to get dressed on lazy Mondays.
A day dress is an essential piece. It's a go-to outfit that you can pull and throw on when you're too lazy to mix and match.

Look comfortably chic in a simple and casual aztec dress.

Aztecs are not as loud as you think. Worn with classic pieces, it could be the most daring and stunning piece you'll ever wear.

I added a bit height to my look with this pair of red wedge heels! A pair of good shoes will complete the outfit I needed for a lazy day.

Remember girls, with the right shoes we can conquer the world—think tall!

                                                                        THINK TALL

What are your go-to outfits when you're on the lazy side?

What I wear:

1. Aztec dress-Artka (thrifted)
2. Wedge Shoes- Street Society  (From Canda with love. My shoe lover sisters from another kapampangan mom gave it to me. ate tin/ nyay! :) )

Young at heart

Time flies so fast. A year seems just like a couple of  months and even a day is like a couple of hours. Hate to tell you, but the older you get, the faster it goes! Each year you feel wiser, mature and OLDER ( admit it) hahaha. But remember " Age is just a number , being young is an attitude". No one will notice you're old if you're not acting  or dressing up  like one. Don't get me wrong being childish is different. :)

Today, I wore something "pa-sweet" and very young looking get up. Candy colored high waist pants and a plain midriff is a perfect match. I'm not afraid of showing off a bit of skin. Pairing a midriff top with high-waist bottom looks very trendy without looking trashy.

When wearing a crop top, it's best not to show too much skin, especially when you'er going for a chic and sophisticated look. This means that your bottoms should be high-waist.

I also chose to cover up with this long boyfriend's denim top to balance out my crop top . Lately the weather was a bit cold and windy so I need this polo to keep me warm.

My alternative way of wearing boyfriend's denim polo.

In choosing what to wear, Comfort is a must!
Pair of comfy sneakers is  my superhero.

Rucksack and sneakers adds a kick to my get up.

Ooops! Someone is sneaking a peek. Hi There koyang! hahahahaha

WHAT I WEAR:

1. Midriff/Croptop- (a gift from my friend) Local Celebrity Manila-/online shop
2. Candy colored/Pastel High Waist Pants- from a boutique in 168 mall. (sorry I forgot their name)
3. Boyfriend's Denim polo- (thrifted)
4. Sneakers- from a Korean store.
