Going Barefoot

I had a great escape from the hustle and bustle of city life with a bit of tranquility two a weeks ago when we visited Alibijan (link here). It was a small heaven in itself far away from tech-heavy and work-driven realities. The place was good as a breakaway from my busy life, I had the chance to relieve stress and think of nothing but to relax. We stayed for almost two days and that will never, never be enough. I will never have enough.

There's nothing I enjoy more than sound of the sea, the summer breeze and not to mention the long fancy barefoot walks along the sandy beach. Oh that’s my kind of a rejuvenating break. Can't wait for my next beach trip!

If your weekends are often filled with errands, chores around the house, and social obligations, try taking some time out for yourself break out of the city’s noise.The best you can do is to escape to the nature, to enjoy the enchanting sea, to feel the sandy beach on your feet and enjoy the sound of the ocean. 

Have a long walk on the beach. Walking barefoot on sand isn't just fun--- it's good for us. It's a treat for the senses, this simple pleasure is actually a very healthy option. It can improve blood circulation because it massages soles. 

On your next beach trip don’t forget to take full advantage of sand's rejuvenating qualities. Also let the Sunshine kiss your skin, it’s a great source of vitamin D. Beach helps us recharge -- and we need to be making A LOT more use of it.
